Marie-Hélène Tramus is a professor and member of the INRéV team at Paris 8 University and the chairwoman of the Labex Arts-H2H Scientific Council.

She jointly created a number of short 3D CGI films from 1984 to 1995, and since 1988 has produced interactive installations; her research and artistic experimentation are aimed at creating environments combining actual and virtual reality and featuring interactive computer-generated characters.
