Hervé Huitric is an Emeritus professor and a pioneer of computer art in France. In 1970, he initiated the first course in Computer Art for the IT department at Paris 8 University, before helping to set up the Art et Technologies de l'Image (ATI) programme.
A graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, he created digital images before the age of screens, and his work focuses on facial animation via films and interactive installations.
