Mayumi Okura is a graduate of the Arts University of Tama (Tokyo) and from Ensa in Nancy. She has a Masters degree in Contemporary Art and New Media (Paris 8), and is an artist.

She was selected to take part in the Japanese Culture Ministry’s overseas study programme for 2006-2007.
